This is such a great story!
Did their biological mom ask for
her kids back- or is she happy with
the arrangement as it is now?
I realize you adopted them and
they are yours....but as a mom
I'm just wondering what her
reaction was when you found her.
Sending good thoughts from
Canada

Thank you so much for continuing to share your story. I just finished reading your book last night and am so glad to be able to see what still goes on afterwards. As a mother myself I could only imagine what Sunama went through to have your babies taken away. Thank goodness everything turned out the way it did.It also made me realise how lucky we are to have what we have over here in Australia. Julia you truly are a very special and inspirational person and from the bottom of my heart I wish you and all of your very special beautiful family all the very best in the future and always.

Hi, Julia! Just finished your book - inspirational! Would you consider updating news on your other 6 kids on this blogspot too? They became alive through your book too, and I would love updates on their current wellbeing! Regards, Marlise.

Hi to all of your family, I finished your book today on the train home. Wow, to open this page and feel like i'm seeing you in the flesh. Wonderful. What an amazing story you have told. The world is a lucky place to have people that are so selfless and caring. How else would it survive! Thank you for being such amazing people and thank you for sharing your story.

I've just finished reading your book and watched the utube reunion. It's so inspiring to read and to learn of your life. It particularly appealed that you have encouraged your adopted children to experience their own former cultures. I really related to your contacts in India with the children's birth mother. I lived in Calcutta with an Indian family in my youth, and could identify with your day to day experiences there. I have one Sri Lankan daughter-inlaw and one Indian born from Malaysia. My two grand-children are the most gorgeous little kids, products of the best of all our cultures. Good on you and my very best wishes to you and your lovely family.
